Nevsky Eventually the road of human's life will stop suddenly some day…
Community Involvement

Nevsky Memorial Chapels - “Nevsky” - is an involved member of the Brooklyn NY community. Nevsky is also an integral part of the Russian community, which is one of many groups contributing to Brooklyn’s wonderful ethnic diversity. The borough’s Russian community’s achievements range from the arts to business. In fact the economic, social, and cultural contributions of Russian New Yorkers to the City of New York are countless.

Nevsky’s contribution to the community it serves include: sponsoring such events as “The Annual Russian Heritage Week” with assistance from the Office of the Mayor of the City of New York. We sponsor numerous tours around the city for Jewish organizations, providing services to the elderly.

Moreover, the President’s Club 2002 and the Russian Veterans Association honored Nevsky with awards that complement numerous acknowledgements from Russian media and societies for professionalism, outstanding service and dedication to the community we serve.

Mrs. Alla Lisovetsky, Nevsky’s general manager, served as a host-consultant for a radio program named “Our Heritage.” Her answers to the show’s on-air listeners’ calls provided a number of insights to funeral ceremonies and their cultural aspects.

Nevsky has served the Russian Community for nearly a decade and has no plans to stop now. Its participation within the community goes beyond being a funeral services provider. Our community commitment includes discovering new ways to forge partnerships with local businesses and public organizations.
